Rainier Tower is a 41-story skyscraper in Seattle; designed by Minoru Yamasaki and completed in 1977. Built atop a tapered, concrete base (shaped like an inverted pyramid), locals often refer to it as the "Beaver Building", because it resembles a tree being felled by a beaver.
