I was on the ferry, sailing back to Whidbey Island, when I caught the sun hovering just above the clouds.
Photography is a great way to connect with nature - and people. Today I met fellow photo enthusiasts, Bill and Fred, at Ebey's Landing. Planting our tripods way up on a hill overlooking Admiralty Inlet, we shared a great conversation. In time, as Bill and Fred predicted, bald eagles were gliding 30 feet below our vantage point, scanning the shoreline for an evening meal. After, we were treated to a magnificent sunset, setting the sky aflame over the Olympic mountains.
A serene moment by the water, watching the boats gently sway.
